Typescript signed: “K.W. Bose” in black ink, 2p, 8½x11. The typescript is of his article “Torn
Curtain”. In part: “So now I knew. Churchill's famous 'iron curtain' speech in Fulton, Missouir,
was not made until almost a year later. This paper was written in June 1945. The expression
iron curtain was in common use in Europe by then.” Keith W. Bose was a writer primarily
interested in the history of World War II. His article, “Torn Curtain” was published in
American Heritage magazine. Corners and edges worn and creased. Pages stapled together at
upper left-hand corner. Otherwise, fine condition.
