3½x5½. MLB pitcher Ken Brett (1948-2003) played for 10 teams in his 14
year career, playing for the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia
Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, California
Angels, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Kansas City Royals from 1967
to 1981. Brett was a successful relief pitcher and pinch hitter who was noted
for his good sense of humor regarding his frequent trades and team switches.
After retiring in 1981, Brett worked as a minor league manager in Utica, New
York, and also held jobs as a color commentator for the Seattle Mariners and
California Angels. He passed away in 2003 after a battle with brain cancer.
Corners and edges lightly worn. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso. Paper clip
crease on top margin. Otherwise, fine condition.
