KEN KERCHEVAL
The actor responds to a letter discussing his personal Abraham Lincoln collection:
"My Lincoln collection consists mostly of items that belonged personally to Mr.
Lincoln or have a very close relationship to him"
Typed Letter signed: "Ken Kercheval", in black ink, 1p, 7¼x10½. In part: "Dear Mr.
Skinner: How nice of you to write and I thank you for the book. My Lincoln collection
consists mostly of items that belonged personally to Mr. Lincoln or have a very close
relationship to him". Ken Kercheval (1935-2019) made his Broadway debut in Something
About a Soldier in 1962, the year of his TV debut on The Defenders. Although he has made
multiple appearances on several TV series, including Kojak and Diagnosis Murder, Kercheval
is best known as Cliff Barnes, perpetual rival (and chronic loser) to JR Ewing (Larry
Hagman) on Dallas. Kercheval and Hagman were the only characters to appear in
every season of the original series, and they re-united in the 2012 rendition. Normal
mailing folds. Light surface creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
