The Nobel Prize winner in Economics (1972) signed this pamphlet titled "Permanent and Transitory Substitution Effects in Health Insurance Experiments".
Pamphlet inscribed and signed: "To Don/ Gossinger,/ with best wishes/ Kenneth J. Arrow" on front cover, 16 pages, 5½x8¾. "Permanent and Transitory Substitution Effects in Health Insurance Experiments" by Kenneth J. Arrow. Reprinted from "Journal of Labor Economics", Vol. 2, No. 2, 1984, by the Stanford Institute for Mathematical Studies in the Social Sciences. American economist Kenneth J. Arrow (1921-2017), then at Harvard University, shared the 1972 Nobel Prize for Economics with Sir John Hicks for his contribution to the general equilibrium theory and to social choice theory. Arrow was also one of the first economists to note the existence of a learning curve. His basic idea was that as producers increase output of a product, they gain experience and become more efficient. Fine condition.
