Port, Maine, date illegible. Kenneth Roberts (1885-1957), an author and correspondent for
the "Saturday Evening Post", was known for his travel books and American historical
novels, including Northwest Passage (1937). He published his autobiography, I Wanted to
Write, in 1949. Two months before his death, Roberts was awarded a Pulitzer Prize Special
Citation for his historical novels. Horizontal fold crease. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine
condition.
