American stage and screen actress Kerry Butler (b. 1971) began acting at
the age of three, first appearing in commercials. After majoring in musical
theatre in New York, she began her true acting career. Since then, she has
appeared in nine Broadway productions including her debut in Les Misérables (1987-2003), her starring role in
Xanadu (2007-2008, which earned her a Tony Award nomination
for Best Actress in a Musical), and Catch Me If You Can
(2011, which earned her a Drama Desk Award nomination for
Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical). Butler has also appeared in a
number of off-Broadway productions including Oklahoma and
Pandora's Box. Beyond acting, Butler is known as an activist
fighting for human rights and environmental issues (among other things). In
2008, she released her first and, so far, only solo album entitled Faith,
Trust & Pixie Dust, an album that included acoustic arrangements of some
of her favorite Disney songs. Sticker on verso. Small unknown residue at face
