Newspaper photograph signed: "Kevin/Dineen", 4¼x4¾ b/w image
affixed to a 4¾x5 card. Kevin Dineen (b. 1963) is a retired NHL
player, playing in the NHL for 19 seasons with the Hartford Whalers (1984-1992,
1995-1997), Philadelphia Flyers (1991-1996), Carolina Hurricanes (1997-1999),
Ottawa Senators (1999-2000), and the Columbus Blue Jackets (2000-2003).
Drafted by the Whalers in 1984 but originally playing with their junior team
the Binghamton Whalers, Dineen was brought in after proving himself in 25 games
for Binghamton, becoming a regular player in the next season with 33 goals
and 68 points in 57 games. His production with the Whalers fluctuated, but
he saw a substantial success with the Flyers, being named their team captain
in 1993, until losing the position in the next season. He continued through
the NHL for several more years, retiring in 2002. After retirement, he went to
coach for the Portland Pirates of the AHL, and now coaches for the Florida
Panthers of the NHL. Player info printed on verso. Corners clightly worn. Image
