Kevin Lowe was born on April 15, 1959 in Lachute, Quebec, Canada.
Lowe played for the NHL for 19 seasons with the Edmonton Oilers
(1979-1992), New York Rangers (1992-1996), and Edmonton Oilers (1996-1998).
During his first 13 seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, Lowe won 5 Stanley Cup
Championships (1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 & 1990) and went on to win another
with the New York Rangers (1994). He has played in seven All-Star games
(1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, & 1993) and was awarded the leagues
King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 1990. As a defenseman his statistics include
84 goals and 347 assists. Lowe holds the Edmonton Oilers record for most regular
season and playoff games played as an Oiler (1037 and 172). Now retired, Lowe is
the current President of Hockey Operations for the Edmonton Oilers. Lightly
