MCCARTHY (1914-2010)began his career with his portrayal of Biff in the original 1948 production of Death of a Salesman. In 1951, he re-created his role in the film version that launched his movie career. The film assignment that won McCarthy much notoriety was that of Dr. Miles Bennell in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), he also appeared in the 1978 remake. In addition to his movie career that thrived for four decades, McCarthy scored a personal theatrical triumph in the one-man show Give 'Em Hell, Harry! He starred in the television series The Survivors (1969), Flamingo Road (1981), The Colbys (1983) and Bay City Blues (1984). MERIVALE (1917-1990, born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) was a stage, screen and TV actor. Merivale entered show business at the age of 21, when he was an understudy in a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. He went on make acclaimed performances on the stage in Venus Observed, Anne of the Thousand Days, The Reluctant Debutante and The Last of Mrs. Cheyney. and debuted on Broadway in An Inspector Calls (1947-1948) and went on to appear in eight more Broadway plays, with his last appearance in a 1966 revival of Ivanov. Merivale also performed in several TV shows and movies, including a notable performance in A Night to Remember and important roles in , The List of Adrian Messenger (1963), King Rat (1965), and Arabesque (1966). WEBB (1906-1982, born in York, England) was an English actor. Webb got his start on the stage. He had a total of 14 Broadway productions to his credit between 1936 and 1968, as well as over 40 movies and TV shows. SINCLAIR (1907-1983, born in Liverpool, England) was an actress with 30 movies and TV shows to her credit between 1930 and 1971. ANDREW was an actress with 11 movies and TV shows between 1950 and 1954. Lightly toned, stained and creased. Left edge is torn with paper loss on verso. "B" in Sinclair's name is partially torn off. Adhesive residue on front and verso, which touches Andrew's signature. Otherwise in fine condition.
