Program inscribed and signed: "To William/Best Wishes/Thomas Barry", "Best Wish Bill/Sharon Sutton", 8½x11, 6 pages. Program for a John Kenley Production of Kismet, signed on a cast page. THOMAS BARRY was an American stage actor. He appeared in many stage musical productions, including Camelot, Carousel, The Most Happy Fellow and The Music Man. He also had a radio show on the east coast for a short time. In this revival of Kismet, first produced in 1953, Barry played the chief of police. SHARON SUTTON (b. 1941) was an instrumentalist and architect Originally a musician, studying French horn at the Manhattan School of Music, Sutton was in the original Broadway cast of Man of La Mancha, she earned an M.A. in architecture from Columbia and a PhD in psychology from Hunter, and became a leading expert on community based architectural design. She was only the second African-American woman honored as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architecture (1995). Creased. Corners lightly worn. Mounting residue on verso.
