Autograph Letter signed: "Kyle", 1 page, 7¼x9. No place, 1995 March
11. "I sincerely apologize for having misplaced (mailed Nov. 30, 1993!) I
had put some dead files in my attic. And, obviously, your request (with photo)
was accidentally included. Anyway - I just found it - and am including an
additional photo. [Items not included.] They say 'the legs go
first.' In my case, I think it was my brain! I have moved - and my new
address is on the envelope. Kindest regards". Kyle Rote, Jr., son of
former NFL running back and sports commentator Kyle Rote, played seven
seasons in the North American Soccer League (six with the Dallas Tornados,
one with the Houston Hurricanes), leading the league in scoring in 1973
with Dallas. He is now CEO of the Memphis-based Athletic Resource Management,
a sports agency representing some 40 NFL players, 12 NBA players, five major
league baseball players and several coaches. Lightly toned. Bottom edge lightly
ragged from cutting. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise fine
condition.
