Calif., June 2, 1937. Imprinted at left above signatures: "Last Flight of
the Army's/Largest Blimp-TC-13 before/Decommissioning. Carried/by Courtesy of
the Following". The blimp made headlines five years later. On March 23, 1942,
the U.S. Submarine Gato (SS-212) was damaged when it was accidentally
bombed by TC-13 off the entrance to San Francisco Bay. Stamped address of a
collector in San Francisco at lower right corner. Fine condition.
