Printed card signed: "Larry Jansen", in black ink, 3½x2. A two-time All Star (1950 and 1951), Jansen was an important member of the Giants' pitching staff, leading the National League in shutouts in 1950 and in wins in 1951 and tallying two seasons with more than 20 wins and five seasons with over 100 strikeouts. Jansen also pitched the 1951 pennant tiebreaker between the Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers. He left the mound in 1956 with a career record of 122-89, an ERA of 3.58, 842 Ks and 17 shutouts. After hanging up his glove, Jansen was the Giants' pitching coach (1961-1971) and coached the Chicago Cubs (1971-1973). Slightly soiled on verso. Fine condition.
