His signature on an Orioles souvenir baseball
Baseball signed: "Larry Lucchino". Souvenir baseball bearing the logo of the Baltimore Orioles. Larry Lucchino (b. 1945), was President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox, played college basketball at Princeton, and was a teammate of former NBA star and US Senator Bill Bradley. Lucchino joined the law firm of Edward Bennett Williams, then owner of the Baltimore Orioles and NFL Washington Redskins, and did legal work for both teams. Lucchino rose to President and CEO of the Orioles, then the San Diego Padres, and finally the Red Sox. He presided over construction of Orioles Park at Camden Yards, the fan-friendly baseball stadium emulated in many cities since, and subsequently the Padres' Petco Field. Lucchino is probably the only person to own a World Series ring (his first of several came with the 1983 Oriolesnd 2007), a Super Bowl ring (Redskins 1983), and an NCAA "Final Four" wristwatch (Princeton 1965). Unknown stains (lightly effecting signature). Fine condition.
