American ice hockey player and coach Larry Pleau was born on January 29, 1947
in Lynn, Massachusetts. He played in the NHL for 3 seasons with the
Montreal Canadians (1969-1972) and 7 seasons in the WHA with the New
England Whalers (1972-1979). A center, his career statistics include 166 goals
and 230 assists. Pleau later coached in the NHL for the Hartford Whalers
(1980-1983, 1987-1989), accumulating a win-loss record of 81-117. Lightly

condition.
