"Larry" O'Brien (1917-1990) served asSpecial Assistant to Presidents Kennedy and Johnson (1961-1965), LBJ's Postmaster General (1965-1968), Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (1968-1971), and Commissioner of the National Basketball Association (1975-1984). In 1991, he was inducted, posthumously, into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Two horizontal fold creases. Corners and edges worn. Multiple notches around edges.
