recorded 132.5 quarterback sacks, 1,088 tackles, 33 forced fumbles, 10 fumble
recoveries, and nine interceptions. His total does not include the 9.5 sacks
he recorded as a rookie, since the sack did not become an official NFL statistic
until 1982. A 10-time Pro Bowl selection, Taylor was named to the NFL's 75th
Anniversary All-Time Team in 1994 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in
