Character actor Lee Bergere (1918-2007) was a frequent TV presence from the mid-1950s through the 1980s. He may be best remembered as majordomo Joseph Anders on the first three seasons of Dynasty (1981-1983). (His character committed suicide at the beginning of season four, after confessing to setting the cliff-hanger fire which ended season three.) He was among the first actors to play a recurring gay character on the Norman Lear sitcom Hot L Baltimore (1975). He portrayed Abraham Lincoln in the Star Trek episode "The Savage Curtain" (1966).
