Document signed "Lee Scott". Black and blue ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6x8½,
1 sheet, front and verso, with 6¼x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy stapled at top edge.
Jan. 12, 1956. Membership form for the American Federation of Television and Radio
Artists. in 1956, Scott was a choreographer on The Rosemary Clooney Show. Dancer and
choreographer Scott earned a Tony nomination for his choreography on the Broadway
musical Happy Town(1959). He started out as a dancer, most notably dancing with Kay
Thompson, before turning to choreography. Scott has choreography credits on 13 movies and
TV shows between 1952 and 1958, including I Love Lucy (1951-1952), Ain't Misbehavin'
(1955) and The Rosemary Clooney Show (1956). Lightly toned and creased. Form has light
dents and staple holes in top left corner. Receipt has staple holes in top left corner and carbon
copy marks and was folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
