He won the WBA and IBF World Heavyweight Championship in 1999. Lewis lost his title to Hasim Rahman on April 21, 2001 but regained it on November 17th. On June 8, 2002, he faced Mike Tyson to defend his title as Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. The lopsided fight, which was one of the most anticipated heavyweight fights in years, ended in the 8th round, when Lewis won by a KO. Tyson had to pay Lewis $335,000 out of his share of the purse for biting Lewis at the news conference announcing the fight. Lewis retired in 2004 with a record of 41 wins (32 by KO), two losses and one draw. Fine condition.
