Stokowski signed this typed letter on his personalized stationery to Marty Wargo, his producer at London Records, in 1968 about an upcoming concert.

In full: "Dear Mr. Wargo Thank you for your letter of April 28. We will do the Ride of the Valkyries (Walkürenritt) only on June 21; nothing on the 15th. Sincerely". MARTY WARGO was Stokowski's producer from 1963 to 1970 and his personal manager from 1973 until Stokowski's death in 1977. Symphony Orchestra (1944-1945) and Houston Symphony (1955-1962). He formed the American Symphony Orchestra in 1962. He was known for his lush interpretations of the classics and it was under his baton that the orchestra played the music for Disney's Fantasia (1940). Lightly soiled, creased and rippled.
