Autograph letter signed: "Lewis Arquette", 1 page, 8½x11. No place, January 1, 1990. Lewis Arquette (1935-2001) was an American film and television actor, writer and producer who had the popular role as J.D. Pickett on TVs The Waltons (1978-1981). He also played Dr. Watson on Sherlock Hound (1984-1985). Originally from Chicago, Arquette studied at Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio in New York City before landing a role in The Very Naked Canvas (1965). He then embarked on a 35 year career, appearing in various television show and films including The China Syndrome (1979), Tango & Cash and Scream 2 (1997). In his late career Arquette provided voices for animated series such as Hypernauts (1996), Spawn (1997-1999) and As Told by Ginger (2000-2001). He also appeared in a few comedies like Little Nicky (2000). He and his wife Brenda Denaut (1939-1997) are the parents of the famous Arquette family, including Patricia, Rosanna, Alexis, Richmond and David Arquette. They are also the grandparents of Zoe Sidel, Coco Arquette and Enzo Rossi. Fine condition.
