Tomlin (born in 1939) has been a regular on three TV shows: Laugh-In
(1970-1973), Murphy Brown (1996-1998) and The West Wing
(2002-2008), being hired in the latter as Chief Presidential Secretary despite
appearing stoned for her interview with an incredulous President Bartlett
(Martin Sheen). She also was the voice of the zany science teacher Ms. Frizzle
in the television series The Magic School Bus (1994-1997). The creator
of two successful one-woman shows, she has earned nine Emmys, two Tonys and a
Grammy, and was nominated for an Oscar for her Gospel singer smitten with
womanizer Keith Carradine in Nashville (1975). Fine condition.
