Show Bill Cover signed: "love/from/Lindsay/Kemp", 5½x9. Cover of the playbill for a production of Flowers at the Biltmore Theatre (1982). Kemp wrote, directed and acted in, this play. British dancer, mime, actor and choreographer Lindsay Kemp (b. 1938) formed his own dance company in the late 1960s, first drawing notice at the Edinburgh Festival of 1968. His students included Kate Bush and David Bowie. He staged and danced in Bowie's London Ziggy Stardust concerts of 1972. He has a long list of West End stage credits, and a few on Broadway. He has danced and mimed in several films, including Kate Bush's The Line, the Cross and the Curve (1994). Left edges worn with small tears. Lightly soiled. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
