No More War! Pauling won the 1962 Nobel Peace Prize for his campaigning

1958 book No More War! Pauling (1901-1994, born in Portland,
Oregon), who was known for promoting the curative and restorative powers of
Vitamin C, earned the 1954 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his research into
the nature of chemical bonding and its application to the structure of complex
substances. In 1962, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his campaign
against nuclear testing (even though Pauling had done military research during
WWII, he became an increasingly vocal critic of the arms race). Lightly toned
and creased. Both pages are foxed, especially first page, at top edge. First
page is discolored along top and right edges and has light tear along left edge.
