In films since 1959, Liv Ullmann (born in 1939) had her breakthrough role as catatonic actress Elisabeth Vogler in Ingmar Bergman's Persona (1966). Honored with numerous New York Film Critics Awards during the early 1970s, she also earned Oscar nominations for her work in The Emigrants (1971) and Bergman's Face to Face (1976) and a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in 40 Carats (1973). During the 1990s, Ullmann, who has received eight honorary college degrees, turned to directing, helming the theatrical feature Sofie (1992). Fine condition.
