Callaway". B/w, 8x10. Singer and actress Liz Callaway (b. 1961) made
her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along (1981),
and has had a long association with Sondheim since, including concert and
recording tributes. She received a Tony nomination for Baby, and a
Drama Desk Award for The Spitfire Grill. Callaway, a nightclub
favorite from New York to London, released her fourth record album, Passage
of Time, in 2009. She has provided animated voice and song for several
films, including The Lion King II (as the adult Kira), The Return
of Jafaar (as Princes Jasmine), and the title role in Anastasia. She
had a children's show on WNEV-TV (Boston) for four years, leaving it to return
to Broadway. She has performed with her sister, singer/composer Ann Hampton
Callaway, on stage and in nightclubs. She is married to stage director Dan
