She broke onto the Hollywood scene as one of the WAMPAS Baby Stars of 1932 and then winning the Paramount Panther Woman Contest, eventually signing to the studio. Andre appeared in films such as One Rune Elmer (1935), Custer's Last Stand (1936), Death in the Air (1936), and Slaves in Bondage (1937). In 1938, Andre set a world's golfing record for women by shooting 156 holes of golf in 11 hours and 56 minutes on the Lake Norconian, California course, her best round was 91 for 18 holes and worst was 115. Toned and slightly soiled. Stains throughout. Corners rounded. Otherwise, fine condition.
