read your lovely note of April 27th. Thank you so much for seeing THE

is a beautiful writer and producer. Kisses to you and warmest regards,"
Canadian Lorne Greene (1915-1987) got his big break in 1959, after his
performance in an episode of the western series, Wagon Train. The
producer and creator of Bonanza immediately recognized Greene as
the perfect Ben Cartwright, and he starred in the immensely popular series
from 1959-1972. Greene's other TV roles included Battlestar
Galactica, the miniseries, Roots, and several documentaries. He had a
No. 1 hit record, "Ringo", in 1964, and released five albums of music. Lightly
creased with folds, not at signature. Lightly soiled at upper margin. Paper clip
impression at upper left. Paper clip rust at opening and first paragraph.
Otherwise, fine condition.
