Photograph signed: "With La [Cockney for "love"]/Lorraine Chase/X". B/w, 10x8. Dated 1984 on verso. At the time she signed this photograph, Chase was appearing in the British TV series, Lame Ducks. Cockney British model-turned actress Lorraine Chase (born in 1951), first found fame in a Campari ad, with her catchphrase, "Nah, Luton Airport!". Since 2002, the actress has played Stephanie Stokes in the British soap opera, Emmerdale (first called Emmerdale Farm when it first aired in 1972, its name was changed in 1989). Chase, who is known for her strong cockney accent and waist-long hair, has also appeared in a number of other British feature films, including Love and Bullets (1979) and Living in Hope (2002), and other TV series, such as Worzel Gummidge (1979) and The Other 'Arf (1980).
