Hall of Famer Wayne Gretzky and five teammates sign an 8x5 page; signed on verso by NBA stars Gerald Henderson and Jeff Grayer.
Signatures: "Wayne Gretzky", "Dave/Taylor/18", "Steve/Kasper", "Bob/Kudelski/37", "Mario/Gosselin/31", "Tim/Watters" and on verso "Jeff Grayer" and "Gerald/Henderson", 1 page (front and verso), 8x5. With 12 unidentified signatures. The 1989-1990 Los Angeles Kings season ended with a record of 34-39-7. It was the eleventh professional season for Hall of Famer WAYNE GRETZKY. Gretzky won the National Hockey League's Hart Trophy (MVP) a record nine times and the Art Ross Trophy (scoring leader) a record ten times. When he retired after the 1999 season, the National Hockey League retired his number 99. His teammates included signers DAVE TAYLOR, an All-Star right wing, who spent his entire seventeen season NHL career with the Kings (1977-1994); Center STEVE KASPER, who played in the NHL for thirteen seasons, three with the Kings (1988-1991); Goaltender MARIO GOSSELIN, who played in the NHL for nine seasons, one with the Kings (1989-1990); Right wing BOB KUDELSKI, who played in the NHL for nine seasons, six with the Kings (1987-1993); and defenseman TIM WATTERS, who played in the NHL for fourteen seasons, seven with the Kings (1988-1995). Signers on verso include Four-time NBA All-Star GERALD HENDERSON, who played for 7 NBA teams over 13 seasons (1979-1992). He was part of the Boston Celtics championship teams of 1981 and 1984, making a well-remembered steal and lay-up to tie Game Two of the 1984 series against the Lakers, eventually won by the Celts. He was an NBA champion again with the Detroit Pistons in 1990. NBA small forward JEFF GRAYER, who played in the league for nine seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks (1988-1992) and Golden State Warriors (1992-1994), as well as the Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings. Lightly frayed at top edge. Lightly toned. Lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
