Printed at bottom right: "Direction/Joe Glaser/R C A Building 30 Rockefeller Plaza/New York N.Y." Artists and Models, released in 1937, was the seventh film in which "Satchmo" appeared. In the film, in which Jack Benny had his first starring role, Raye and Armstrong portrayed themselves. Armstrong, who had risen to fame as a jazz musician in the 1920s, made the last of his 25 feature films, Hello, Dolly!, in 1969. Five years earlier, the jazz great had a huge hit with the title tune from the Broadway musical. Lightly creased, mostly in margins. Signature is light but legible.
