Louise Platt (1915-2003) was primarily a stage actress, whose Broadway
roles included Mary Boleyn in Anne of the Thousand Days (1948-1949). She
made a few film appearances, including one as an officer's pregnant wife in John
Ford/John Wayne's Stagecoach (1939), another in Street of Chance
(1942), with Burgess Meredith. Her TV appearances included two episodes of
Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York
business man by day, pursued his love of film and theatre in the evening, making
friends with many celebrities. While other autograph seekers offered album
leaves, Goodman presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign
in fountain pen. Corners worn and creased. Lightly toned around edges.
