JOHN SEBASTIAN. Inscribed signature: "Hi, James -/Good Luck,/John Sebastian", 5x3 card. Singer, songwriter and harmonica player John Besson Sebastian (born in 1944) is best known as the founder and a member of the 1960s group, The Lovin' Spoonful. The Spoonful were part of America's answer to the British Invasion, and had such hits as "Do You Believe in Magic?", "Summer in the City", "Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?" and "Younger Girl". They later reunited to appear in the 1980 film, One Trick Pony, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Sebastian, who left the group in 1968, enjoyed a successful solo touring career, and he has played harmonica for several groups. Sebastian has also hosted several TV programs on 60s music, and the songs of Sebastian and The Lovin' Spoonful have been featured in a number of films. Fine condition.
