Postcard Signed: "Sincerely/Lucrezia Bori", 5½x3¼ with b/w1¾x2½ newspaper photograph
attached at left (two surfaces). Postmarked New York, New York, 1943 May 17. Addressed
on verso in unknown hand. Lucrezia Bori (1887-1960) a Spanish soprano was one of the
most popular singers to perform at the Metropolitan Opera. Her roles included Carmen,
Violetta and Mimi. Pencil notes (unknown hand) at lower blank margin. Lightly creased at
corners. Postmark touching "L" of Lucrezia. Otherwise, fine condition.
