Signature: "Luigi/Infantino/1951". Pencil notations in bottom right corner in unknown hand. 6¼x5¼ album leaf, with rounded right edges. Infantino (1921-1991) was an Italian operatic tenor who performed from 1943 to 1973 in Italy, New York City and at the Bombay Opera in India, as well as on Italian radio. A stylish lyric tenor, he was most associated with lyric Italian and French operas, including Verdi's La traviata, Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly and La bohème, Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, Mozart's Don Giovanni and Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles. Signature is lightly haloed but legible. Otherwise in fine condition.
