LYNN HAMILTON
B/w still from Sanford and Son of Lynn Hamilton's character Donna Harris visiting Redd Foxx in the hospital. Signed with "Love & Peace" in red ink by Hamilton.
Inscribed photograph signed "To/Trinia/Love & Peace/Lynn Hamilton" in red ink. Pencil notations on verso in unknown hand. B/w, 10x8 overall, 9¼x7½ image, one surface. Hamilton has appeared in over 60 movies and TV shows since 1959. Her best known role is probably Donna Harris on Sanford and Son (1972-1977), though she's also had recurring roles as Verdie Grant Foster on The Waltons (1973-1981), Emma Johnson on 227 (1986-1989) and Judge Fulton on The Practice (1997-2002), as well as roles on the short-lived soaps Sunset Beach (1997-1998) and Port Charles (1999). Lightly toned, creased and bowed. Signature has low contrast in places but is legible. Adhesive residue in top left and bottom corners. Light scratches, scuff marks and impressions on image (not visible head-on). Paper loss on verso (no show-through). Otherwise in fine condition.
