Actress, screenwriter and director RENEE TAYLOR (b. 1933) first gained national attention on the late-night Jack Paar Program (1959-1962) and made her film debut in 1961 in The Errand Boy. In 1965, she married actor JOE BOLOGNA (b. 1934), with whom she wrote a number of scripts, including the Broadway hit comedy, Lovers and Other Strangers (they were nominated for Academy Awards for the 1970 film adaptation), Made for Each Other (1971) and Bermuda Avenue Triangle (1997). They won Emmy Awards for their 1973 TV special, Acts of Love and Other Comedies and directed and co-starred in It Had to be You (1989, adapted from their play). Taylor's other feature film credits include The Producers (1968), Last of the Red Hot Lovers (1972), All I Want for Christmas (1991), Lady Killers (2003) and Alfie (2004). Taylor is best known to TV viewers in her Emmy nominated role as Fran's mother, Sylvia Fine, in The Nanny (1993-1999). Bologna's other film credits include Cops and Robbers (1973), Honor Thy Father (1973), The Big Bus (1976) and Chapter Two (1979). Corners rounded. Toned and slightly soiled. Ink slightly smeared.
