Marshall" in black ink. Promotional photograph from Man on Fire (1957). Harry Lillis "BING" CROSBY (1904-1977) won the 1944 Academy Award for Best Actor for Going My Way. He was also nominated for Best Actor Oscars for The Bells of St. Mary's (1945) and The Country Girl (1954). Known for his relaxed "crooning" style of singing, Crosby recorded more than 1,600 songs that sold at least 500 million copies. He won two Emmys for his portrayal of attorney Lawrence Preston on The Defenders, telecast on CBS from 1961-1965, and later appeared on The Bold Ones. On film, he was the prosecutor in The Caine Mutiny (1954) and a juror in Twelve Angry Men (1957). Slightly creased throughout. Lightly toned. Corners rounded. Otherwise, fine condition.
