NHL player signs 3½x5½ black and white photograph in blue ink
Photograph signed: "Marc/ Crawford" in blue felt tip. B/w,
3½x5½. Marc Crawford (b. 1961) is a retired NHL player and coach,
playing in the NHL for 6 seasons with the Vancouver Canucks (1981-1987). He
only played in the NHL for a short time, and is instead most remembered as
being a coach in the NHL. Coaching for several teams, Crawford's longest
tenure was with his team the Canucks, where he built them up into a notable and
offensive team and helped bring them a large line of success that had been
eluding them for many seasons. Despite a great amount of success, Crawford
was eventually let go by the Canucks, and passed through several other teams
until most recently being signed as coach to the ZSC Lions of Switzerland.
