The former NFL and Super Bowl MVP signs a replica of his Raiders jersey.
Football Jersey signed: "Marcus Allen" on numeral "2" on back. Black football jersey with silver numerals. "ALLEN" stitched on yoke on verso. Marcus LeMarr Allen (born in 1960) was selected by the Raiders in the first round of the 1982 draft (the year the Oakland Raiders moved to Los Angeles; they would return to Oakland in 1995, when Allen was playing for the Chiefs). The 1981 Heisman Trophy winner while playing for USC, Allen would go on to become NFL Rookie of the Year (1982), and he would be named Super Bowl XVIII MVP and NFL MVP in 1985. Allen was the first player in NFL history to rush for 10,000-plus yards and catch passes for over 5,000 more. His career stats include 12,243 yards rushing and 587 passes for 5,411 yards receiving (143 touchdowns, then a league record). Allen was All-Pro in 1982 and 1985, All-AFC four times, and he was named to six Pro Bowls. Allen played for the Los Angeles Raiders from 1982-1992 before going to the Kansas City Chiefs (1993-1997), where he led the team in rushing every year. Elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003, Allen became an analyst for CBS Sports before parting ways with the network in August 2005. Lightly wrinkled. Fine condition.
