Biography signed: “Marguerite Chapman” on front and “Lynne Forrester” on verso, both in
blue ink, 2p (front and verso of single sheet), 8½x11. MARGUERITECHAPMAN
(1918-1999) entered the film industry in the late 1930s, often playing the secondary star
in many films of the 1940s and 1950s. Examples of her work include the serial Spycatcher
(1942), Relentless (1948), and Bloodhounds of Broadway (1952). A frequent guest on TV
programs of the 1950s, she reappeared for spots on Hawaii Five-0 (1968-1980) in 1975 and
Police Story (1973-1979) in 1976. LYNNE FORRESTER is a stage and screen actress. In
addition to acting in a considerable number of theatre productions and musicals including
Kismet and Li'l Abner, Forrester has several TV credits to her name including appearances
on Playhouse 90 (1956-1961) in 1958 and Brenner (1959, 1964) in 1959. Moreover, she
made guest appearances on the shows of Perry Como and Arlene Francis. Forrester was also
in Son of Sinbad (1955) in an uncredited role. Left edge irregular from being removed from
binding. Lightly toned. Gently creased and indented throughout. Sparsely stained in several
areas. Otherwise, fine condition.
