The Austrian actress signs an autograph note
Autograph Note signed: "To Kayo/with warmest wishes/Maria Palmer", 4¼x3 card. Maria Palmer, 1917-1981 (born Maria Pilcher in Vienna) was a child actress in a troupe which toured Europe. Moving to the US in 1938, she made her Broadway debut in The Moon is Blue (1942). From World War II to the mid-1960s, she played European (often mysterious) women in adventure and dramatic movies, including Days of Glory (1944) and Rendezvous 24 (1946). The last of her many TV guest appearances was on The F.B.I. (1967). Corners slightly worn. Fine condition.
