York, N.Y., October 23, 1974, FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. A multi-talented singer, comedian
and impersonator, Marilyn Michaels (b. 1943) is the daughter of famed cantoress Fraydele
Oysher and Metropolitan Opera basso Harold Sternberg. She starred as Fannie Brice in the
national touring company of Funny Girl (1965) and has made frequent appearances on
television series and talk shows. As a comedian and impressionist, she appeared on The Mike
Douglas Show (1961-1982) and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (1962-1992).
Other credits include game shows, daytime soaps, and various television shows. Fine
condition.
