Legendary Italian-born American race car driver Mario Andretti (born in Montona, Italy in 1940) was a four-time USAC-CART national champion (1965-1966, 1969 and 1984). The only driver to win the Daytona 500 (1967), the Indy 500 (1969) and the Formula One world title (1978), Andretti was also the only driver to race in four decades (1960s-1990s) and he was the oldest Champ Car driver to win a race (Phoenix, 1993 -- at 53 years and 34 days old). When he retired in 1994, Andretti ranked first in poles (67) and starts (407) and second in wins (52) on the all-time Championship Auto Racing Teams list. A legend in his own time, Andretti was inducted into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America while still racing. Irregularly cut. Lightly creased, touching signature. Tape remnants at left margin of upper photograph of Andretti, lower photograph has tape remnants at upper and lower edges and 4 black photo corners at corners. 3 file holes at left margin, 1 nicks decal. Overall, fine condition.
