Matted with an 8x9 color magazine photo to an overall of 11x14. Marisa Berenson (b. 1947) is better known for her later career as a top-drawer fashion model, gracing the covers of all the best international fashion magazines. Hired by filmmaker Luchino Visconti for a major role in Death in Venice (1971), Berenson proved she could act, and that she was not merely a wealthy dilettante. She was quite good in Cabaret (1972), Barry Lyndon (1975) and, her lovely hair buzz-cut to the bone, as a cynical death-camp inmate in the made-for-TV Playing for Time (1980). More recently, she portrayed Caterina Paoli in Mafiosa from 2006 to 2007. For her supporting role in Cabaret, she earned two Golden Globe nominations. Corners worn and creased. Protective covering over photograph scratched. Adhesive residue on verso. Signature slightly smeared on 'M'; does not affect rest of signature. Otherwise, fine condition.
