Marjorie Main (1890-1975) performed in vaudeville and on Broadway before her film debut in 1931. Often cast as a salty, abrasive woman, she found a niche opposite Percy Killbride in ten Ma and Pa Kettle movies between 1947 and 1957. She earned Best Supporting Actress nominations for The Egg and I (Academy of Motion Pictures, 1947, her first "Ma Kettle" role) and Friendly Persuasion (Hollywood Foreign Press Association, 1956). Lightly creased at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
