Photograph signed: “Mark/Napier” in purple felt. 3½x4½. Mark Napier (b. 1957) is a retired
NHL and WHA right wing, playing over a thousand games between the two leagues. He
began in the WHA, playing for three seasons with the Toronto Toros (1975-1976) and the
Birmingham Bulls (1976-1978). After the WHA folded, Napier went to play for the NHL,
playing for 14 seasons with the Montreal Canadiens (1978-1984), Minnesota North Stars
(1983-1985), Edmonton Oilers (1984-1987), and the Buffalo Sabres (1986-1989). He
won two Stanley cups; One with the Minnesota North Stars in 1979, and another with the
Edmonton Oilers in 1985. After retiring, Napier coached the Toronto St. Michael's Majors of
the OHL, before finally finding a position as the NHL Alumni Association President. Lightly
toned. Corners rounded. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
