MARK OSBORNE
The NHL player signs his name in blue ink on this 4¼x6¾ photograph,
shown wearing his Detroit Red Wings uniform.
Newspaper photograph signed: "Mark/Osborne", in blue ink, B/w
4¼x6¾ affixed to a slightly larger card (2 surfaces). Mark Osborne (b. 1961)
is a retired NHL player, playing for 14 seasons with the Detroit Red
Wings (1981-1983), New York Rangers (1983-1987, 1994-1995), Toronto Maple Leafs
(1986-1991, 1991-1994), and the Winnipeg Jets (1991-1992). Coming from the
OHL's Niagara Fall Flyers, Osborne was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 1980.
His first season as a rookie was impressive, and although later seasons
never quite matched his initial performance, he continued to have a successful
career. He left the NHL in 1995, playing for a few more seasons in the
IHL as a player coach, and ultimately retired in 1998. Image toned. Fine
condition.
