MARLENE WILLOUGHBY
Famed adult film actress looks intensely at camera in black and white headshot, signs her
name in black ink
Printed photograph signed: "Loving you, / Marlene Willoughby/ XOXO" in black felt tip. B/w,
8x10. American adult film actress Marlene Willoughby (b. 1948), which the main stage name
she chose after someone described her as "willowy", is best known for the decades-long career
in the adult film industry. She and her sister, Jacqueline Carol, both made attempts in careers
in show business, and Willoughby landed parts in mainstream films such as No Place to Hide
(1970) as well as some off-Broadway stage parts. She first began her adult film career in
softcore work such as Voices of Desire (1972) and While the Cat's Away… (1972) before
making the leap to hardcore adult films. Some of her most notably appearances include The
Opening of Misty Beethoven (1976), The Farmers Daughters (1976), Outlaw Ladies
(1981) and Foxtrot (1982). After retiring from the adult films in the late 1980s, Willoughby
appeared in the mainstream film Married to the Mob (1988). Corners slightly creased. Fine
condition.
